Play solo or with friends for a grand adventure in the Forgotten Realms! Probably a lot of other ways to do it as well.Neverwinter Nights: Complete Adventures includes the classic RPG, all enhanced edition content, plus six DLC adventures! Could check if her skill is 2 * her level (or whatever else you want it), if not set it, then give the bonus item if you still needed it. It would get slightly more complicated if based on her level, though not necessarily a lot. Something along the lines of asking her through dialogue to watch for traps, then during that to run a check: if she doesn't have 1 point in the skill, give it to her, and if she doesn't have the item, give it to her. You might be able to do some checks in her conversation as well, which would require an edit of the convo and creation of the bonus item (possibly for each chapter still). I imagine there are other ways of doing it, though that is probably the easiest, but also most tedious I figure. Also, you will possibly have to do this for each chapter she is in. So you will need to edit each blueprint for Sharywn, making sure to give her a point (or more) into the skill and the gear to be worn by her that gives her the bonus each and every time. ![]() And as it goes they range from level 4-14 - and a new version of the character for each level (one at 4, one at 5, one at 6, etc.) And when they level up (which if hired is when you level up) you will see them vanish and reappear - this is the new henchman. when they level up, the original campaign would swap out the old character, bring in a new one with the correct level.īecause of this, at each level they also get a new set of equipment - another load of potions, sometimes stronger weapons, or gear with better bonuses. Instead of editing the values of their stats/feats/etc. My question is only about modding and editing and NOT about how I can avoid / ignore traps.ĭid you update every single version of Sharwyn? I *think* they only did it this way in the original campaign, but each leveled up henchman is actually a new character. I am aware, that traps are not really a problem, because I can save spam until my character passes a lucky roll and is not killed. How can I change her script or whatever to make her level up but not delete all items and reset skills to zero? The joy lasted only for a second, because then she leveld up and all was lost: The item I gave her was deleted and the skill was back to zero. I gave her the item and voilà, she is a trap disarrmer now. In game I meet her, hire her, check her skills, and indeed, she has what I gave her in the toolset. As I wrote: Too tedious.Īs next I tried to edit her in the tool set, which is easy. So I tried to edit her with Leto, but that is too tedious, because there the skills are just numbers and I must figure out, which is the one I want to increase. But such an item works only, if a character has at least one point in the skill, which should be raised. ![]() I made an item, which gives her some spot- and trap disarming skills. So, if one does not play a rouge, the henchman Tomi Undergallows is the only solution.įor my game now I tried to break that "must" and wanted to edit Sharwyn. ![]() There is one thing, I hated even back in the days, when the game came out:Īlmost every chest and door locked and locations with traps on every second tile. ![]()
