Pour half of the custard on top and spread evenly. Vanilla custard desserts are classic and elegant, and are perfect for serving at special occasions or as a sweet finish to any meal. Arrange a layer of ladyfingers at the bottom of a 6x8-inch or 7x7-inch pan. Spread a thin layer of custard on top and place in the refrigerator.After half an hour, remove the cake from the mould, cut the cake into slices and serve. This dessert can come in various forms, such as puddings, tarts, mousse cake, or crme brles. Top the custard with the other layer of cake. Pour the fruit cocktail onto the cake layer in the mould followed by the warm custard. Continue stirring until the milk thickens. When the ingredients have dissolved and the milk begins to boil stir in the custard powder. Pour cup milk (warm or at room temperature) and mix well. Place egg whites in a bowl and set aside. Separate eggs and add the egg whites to a mixer and beat egg whites stiff. Place one layer inside the mould and keep the other layer aside.Heat the milk in a saucepan and add the china grass and sugar. Meanwhile add 3 tablespoons custard powder to a small mixing bowl. Grease and Line 8 inch x 8 inch baking dish with parchment. Now cut through the middle of the cake to form two layers. Turn the heat to medium, stir the mixture continuously until the custard begins to thicken. Place the custard powder, milk and sugar in a saucepan and stir well until the flour is dissolved well. Refrigerate the biscuit crust for 1 hour. Using a spatula fold gently and pour the batter into a cake mold.Bake at 180C for 30-35 minutes or until the cake has risen and is golden brown in color.Remove the cake and cool on a cooling rack. Using a flat spatula or a glass, press the crumb mixture into the base of the pan. Mix well and add the melted butter and raisins. METHOD: In a bowl beat together the sugar and eggs until a mixture of uniform consistency is reached.When the sugar granules completely dissolves sift in the flour and baking powder. ![]()
